On Windows Notepad++ is simply my favorite programming editor!
Unfortunately, it is not available for Mac OS X :(
Here are some alternatives:
1) Editra: my choice! It's small, neat and free! And ... it's available for Windows too.
2) I haven't tried it yet, but also TextWrangler seems great!
